"Jason grew up in Jacksonville, NC. He attended East Carolina University and Greensboro College where he played on the nationally ranked Greensboro College golf team. Jason started in the golf business right after college and has served several high end clubs in the south east including, Raleigh Country Club as Director of Golf and Director of Instruction at both Old North State and Kinloch Golf Club.

Jason came to Belfair after serving on the highly acclaimed teaching staff at Sea Island Golf Club where he worked with Todd Anderson, Jack Lumpkin, Gale Peterson and Mike Shannon, all of whom are listed among Golf Digests Top 50 Instructors. One of Jasonís goals for Belfair is to create a welcoming coaching and learning environment for players of all levels through strong fundamentals presented in simple and repeatable concepts. Jasonís Knowledge of the body and how it reacts in the golf swing allows him to create a functional and repeatable golf swing for all levels of players including players with body limitations.

Teaching runs in Jasonís family. His father was a high school coach for 40 years, his mother has taught dance for over 25 years and his brothers and sister are tennis professionals and a highly decorated dance instructor respectfully. In Jasonís down time he enjoys spending time with his wife Mollie and three daughters at the beach or fishing.

Jason is a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Professional Level 3 in both screening the body for golf and golf mechanics. Jason has also been trained in laser optics putting and is TrackMan Certified Level 2 as well as Swing Catalyst Certified Level 2 in Biomechanics. Jason was also selected as the PGA HHI Chapter Carolinas Section Teacher of the Year in 2016 and is listed by Golf Digest as a ďBest in StateĒ Instructor. In addition to these honors, Jason is one of only 28 Swing Catalyst Ambassadors found worldwide for his knowledge of ground force reaction and bio-swing dynamics concepts."
